We understand the sensitivity of storing premium items like limited-edition motorcycles, and our procedures are designed to offer complete peace of mind – from arrival checks through to final despatch.
Can WMB Logistics handle both storage and nationwide distribution under one contract?
Yes. We provide a fully integrated warehousing and transport solution. Your assets are stored securely at our central hub, and when you’re ready to move them, we use our own fleet – including enclosed trailers and specialist handling systems – to distribute across the UK and Europe. It’s a seamless service, fully managed by WMB from end to end.
How do you track and report on stock movement and condition?
We offer KPI reporting tailored to your requirements – from stock level reports to outbound delivery performance. We also conduct quality checks on receipt and prior to despatch, with photographic records if required. For clients storing high-value items, this level of traceability and documentation is often critical.
Can you manage varying stock levels throughout the year, including peak-season surges?
Yes — our warehousing operation is built to adapt to the seasonal and campaign-driven fluctuations typical of high-profile product lines. Under normal operating conditions, we manage storage for approximately 2,500 motorcycles at our Gloucester facility. However, during peak periods – such as new model launches or major dealer campaigns – we have the capability to scale up to around 5,000 units. Bikes are not our entire business of course, but these statistics will provide some idea of the sheer volume of assets we have the capacity for.
Our experienced team works closely with clients to forecast demand, allocate space, and ensure that resources are in place ahead of time. Whether you’re dealing with a high-volume roll-out or a limited edition release, we provide the flexibility and foresight to keep your supply chain running smoothly.
